How To Throw An Out Of Sight Star Wars Birthday Party

A Star Wars theme party is great for any boy who loves Star Wars. The sky is the limit for all the creative things you can do to have a totally out of sight event that your Jedi and his friends will love.

Star Wars is a popular theme with tons of party ideas and party supplies to make your party absolutely awesome. With these great ideas and some creative contributions of your own, you can customize the Star Wars theme so that it is truly one of a kind.

There are lots of variations to the Star Wars theme. Return of the Jedi, Clone Wars and the Jedi Training Academy are among the different ones you can go with. Of course, plain ole Star Wars is a classic as well.

Once you have picked one of the Star Wars themes, you will want to sit down with your birthday boy and come up with a guest list. You will also want to choose a party location, date and time.

The great thing about Star Wars themes is that there are lots of great supplies to choose from so many varieties of invitations will be available at local party stores and also online. Once you have neatly printed the party details on them, slip them in envelopes and sprinkle in some confetti then seal with Star Wars stickers. You can find personalized Star Wars stickers online for that special touch.

A galaxy of Star Wars decorations await you so the sky is the limit. Welcome the Younglings with a birthday banner marking the spot of your party. Bring in plenty of balloons for a festive touch. Mix Star Wars Mylars with solid helium filled latex balloons for a nice effect.

Deck the walls with Star Wars! Stick glow in the dark stars on the walls and ceilings and add in some removable Star Wars wall decals. Hang Star Wars starships and toys from the ceilings and scatter about Star Wars toys on table tops and coffee tables. A Star Wars pinata is a nice addition to the decor and a sure hit at game time.

Tables come in handy to serve cakes, beverages and snacks from and they add so much to the decor, you may want to set up several. Start with a color coordinating solid or Star Wars theme table cover and add a fun centerpiece. Spread out the goodies like the cake, drinks and snacks then set out party plates, cups and napkins. You can use fun serving dishes like metallic plates and star shaped platters. Have fun using your own creativity and even more fun when you let your Padawan contribute his imaginative ideas as well.

You can find lots of decorating supplies in the Star Wars theme from birthday party sites for kids.

Ahhh…the cake! The birthday cake is much anticipated by the birthday boys and his guests so make sure yours is a star attraction. You can purchase a Star Wars theme cake pan and decorate according to the instructions that come with it. Or, you can bake and frost a cake and use a cake topper or arrange fun Star Wars figures on top. Birthday party sites often have super instructions and recipes.

Serve fun beverages like Darth Vader or Feel the Force punch. Pour into Star Wars party cups and add some star shaped ice cubes for a really cool effect.

Of course you will need to feed the young Jedi. Star shaped sandwiches are a great and filling food. Blue glow jello is awesome and sure to please the boys. You can find a galaxy of goody ideas at children party sites.

For a great party, you must have great games. Play games that are age appropriate and take into consideration how much space you have at your party location.

You will want to do your homework on this one or consult your little expert. If you know your stuff, it will show and you will be the coolest mom on the planet.

A Jedi Training Academy is quite the hot activity. Set up stations so the Younglings can test their lightsaber skills and test their knowledge by playing “Name that Character”. A Battle For Naboo obstacle course is lots of fun too.

Let the children express their creativity by giving each a poster board and setting out supplies like glow in the dark stars, glitter, glitter paint and glow in the dark paint pens. It is fun to see what they come up with.

Send them packing with a smile. Fill Star Wars theme boxes or bags with fun items like glow in the dark stars, Star Wars stickers, coloring books, crayons and little Star Wars figurine toys. If you prefer to go the easier route, you can purchase sets that are already assembled.

Soon after the party, help your child send out thank you cards. You can purchase some that match the invitations or help him make his own.

When you combine these innovative ideas with creative touches of your own, you are sure to have a galatic Star Wars party experience that your Padawan and his friends will talk about for years. May the force be with you.
